Win your own COOLride to prom!CoolRide to the Prom

Arrive in style…in a beautifully restored classic or custom car. High school students of Avon, Cal-Mum, Dansville, Geneseo, Keshequa, Letchworth, Livonia, Mt. Morris, Perry and Warsaw, are eligible.

Step 1: Complete the application. The application must be fully completed in order to be eligible.

You may also enter in person by visiting CASA school representatives (or check with your Prom advisors).

Rides subject to availability of volunteer drivers, prom schedule and weather.

Step 2: Have a conversation with a parent about your answers -before we call home.

Questionnaires will be rated for completeness. Two applicants or applicant couple with
complete questionnaires will be selected randomly from each school.

FINALLY, your school must have at least 15 entries for your submission to be considered and to qualify for a Cool Ride car.

Complete Survey

One winning couple is chosen randomly from a pool of contestants from each school. Teens must prove to CASA that they spoke with a parent about their answers to the questionnaire. (That’s right! We will call moms or dads to verify each and every answer you submitted at our web site.)

Winners will be notified as quickly as possible so they can adjust Prom plans. However, driver availability may still need to be confirmed the night before prom. CoolRides are not guaranteed.

Cool Ride 2016 is coordinated with CASA of Livingston County, Wyoming County Partners for Prevention and the volunteers through the Good Ol’ Boys Auto Club in Mt. Morris.

If you would like more information on Cool Ride 2016, please contact CASA of Livingston County at 585.991.5012, Prevention Services.

If you win – here are some important things to know:

  • Drivers are volunteers and transportation is only one-way (to prom only)
  • You’ll receive a $100 gift card for reimbursement of your expenses

Distance and road conditions can be a problem for these expensive, delicate cars. If a prom location is too far, or involves a gravel road, or where cars are just not roomy enough for some dresses we will try to make other accommodations, but a ride cannot be guaranteed.

Parents will be introduced to drivers at their pick up point by a CASA staff person when possible. Parents and drivers must be entirely comfortable, ask any questions, and consult CASA’S staff if needed, in order to proceed with the ride. A ride can be interrupted at any time by any party, by phoning the CASA staff person. No reasons need be given.

Drivers are Volunteers

Drivers volunteer their services directly to each parent. Teen participants are randomly chosen by CASA and must have permission of a parent. All parties are expected to be respectful of property and person.

Our cars are driven by volunteer owners, usually couples, or are chaperoned by CASA staff.

Calling all drivers and owners…

Volunteer for CASA’s CoolRide to prom by calling CASA 585-991-5012

Our owner/drivers describe a fantastic time, meeting some grateful parents and enthusiastic teens. Drivers can partner up and convoy. Make CoolRide into a night on the Town. dressing up, get in on some photos, and enjoy the company.

CoolRide takes about 90 minutes, including photos.
